The Story

Every great story begins with a dream… and ours began in 1947, with Al-Haj Mahmoud Habibah and his passion for crafting knafeh while preserving its authentic taste. After moving to Amman in 1948, the dream began to grow at the heart of the city.

In 1951, the first Habibah branch opened in Downtown Amman. From that moment on, the journey became a family story passed down from one generation to the next. From a young age, Hani Habibah stood alongside his father, learning the secrets of the craft, until he became an essential partner in continuing the journey in 1975.

In 1975, the King Hussein Street branch opened, followed by the Madinah Al Munawarah Street branch in 1998, allowing Habibah to continue growing and reaching more people.

In 2012, the Habibah Complex on Madinah Al Munawarah Street opened, marking another milestone in the family’s journey.

Then, in 2018, the story crossed the borders of Amman for the first time, reaching Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and bringing with it the taste that began in Amman.

Following the success of its Saudi experience, Habibah continued to expand with new branches, extending its story across Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

In 2026, Habibah opened its Corridor Abdoun – Abdoun Village branch, bringing the story back to the city where it all began and opening a new chapter in its journey.
